The Fox ESS PQ Series is a powerful next-generation single-phase hybrid solar and battery storage system, combining high-output hybrid inverter technology with scalable EQ5000 LFP battery storage.

Available with 5kW, 8kW, 10kW or 12kW hybrid inverter options and a choice of 2 to 6 x EQ5000 battery modules, the system can be configured to suit a wide range of residential energy requirements.

Designed for high solar generation, large household loads and increased energy independence, the PQ Series supports up to 200% PV oversizing, multiple MPPTs and high-current solar panels. Its modular stackable battery design also makes it easy to increase storage capacity as energy requirements grow.

With an integrated 63A bypass and ultra-fast <4ms backup switchover, the PQ Series is also ideally suited to installations requiring comprehensive backup capability during a grid outage.

Advanced Solar & Battery Management

The PQ Series is designed to maximise the amount of solar energy generated, stored and used within the property. Excess solar generation can be directed into the EQ5000 battery bank for use later in the day, helping to reduce grid consumption and maximise solar self-consumption.

The system can also be configured around compatible time-of-use electricity tariffs, allowing batteries to be charged during lower-cost periods and discharged when grid electricity is more expensive.

Whole-Home Backup Capability

With an integrated 63A bypass and backup switchover of less than 4ms, the PQ Series provides a powerful platform for whole-home backup installations when designed and installed accordingly.

Smart Monitoring

FoxCloud provides remote access to system performance, including solar generation, battery state of charge, household consumption and grid import/export, allowing users to monitor and manage their energy system from their phone or web browser.
