Excess solar generation can be directed into the EQ5000 battery bank for use later in the day, helping to reduce grid consumption and maximise solar self-consumption. The system can also be configured around compatible time-of-use electricity tariffs, allowing batteries to be charged during lower-cost periods and discharged when grid electricity is more expensive. Whole-Home Backup Capability With an integrated 63A bypass and backup switchover of less than 4ms, the PQ Series provides a powerful platform for whole-home backup installations when designed and installed accordingly.
