Important: The EQS5000 is a slave battery module and cannot operate independently. A compatible Fox ESS EQ master module is required. Modular & Scalable Battery Storage Expandable Up to 29.52kWh The Fox ESS EQ battery system uses a modular design that allows compatible battery modules to be connected together to increase total energy storage capacity. A compatible battery stack requires: Minimum configuration: 2 modules 1 × Master battery 1 × Slave battery Maximum configuration: 6 modules 1 × Master battery Up to 5 × Slave batteries Maximum system capacity: Up to 29.52kWh This flexible configuration allows the battery storage system to be expanded as energy requirements increase. Before installation, contact your technical support representative through the relevant portal and provide a photograph of the existing battery stack to help determine compatibility. Heated & Non-Heated Battery Compatibility Mixed Battery Configurations Heated and non-heated Fox ESS EQ battery versions can be used together within the same compatible battery system. For example: A non-heated master module can be connected to heated slave modules. A heated master module can be connected to non-heated slave modules.
