Fast & Simple Installation
The PowerOcean 2 Plus has been designed to minimise installation time and maximise reliability. Its compact footprint, integrated carrying handles, captive side screws and pre-engineered modular design allow for rapid installation with fewer components. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor mounting, the system also includes a built-in smart meter and integrated whole-home backup, reducing additional hardware requirements.
Scalable Battery Storage
The modular design allows homeowners to build a storage system that grows with their energy needs.
- Supports up to six 5.02kWh batteries in a single stack.
- Expandable to two battery stacks using the dedicated battery base and junction box.

The system also offers cross-generation compatibility with selected EcoFlow PowerOcean LFP batteries, making it easy to expand existing installations while protecting previous investments.
Integrated Whole-Home Backup
Unlike many hybrid inverters, the PowerOcean 2 Plus features built-in whole-home backup as standard. With 0ms load-side switching and a 72A bypass, the system provides seamless power during grid failures, keeping lighting, appliances and essential household circuits operating without interruption.
It also supports intelligent integration with compatible third-party inverters on the backup supply, offering greater flexibility when upgrading or expanding existing solar installations.
Intelligent Energy Management
The integrated EcoFlow Home Energy Management System (HEMS) continuously analyses your home's energy usage to optimise battery charging and discharging automatically. By working with compatible time-of-use and dynamic electricity tariffs, the system can charge batteries when electricity prices are lowest and use stored energy during peak-rate periods, helping to maximise savings and increase self-consumption.
