Flexible System Compatibility

The IQ9N works with virtually all modern PV module technologies provided the panel remains within the inverter's electrical limits:

• MPPT operating range: 28–45V
• Start-up voltage: 21V

It can be added to existing IQ7 or IQ8 systems using the same IQ Gateway, making it easy to expand an existing Enphase installation without replacing your current equipment.

Please Note:

• IQ9N microinverters can be added to existing IQ7 or IQ8 systems.
• IQ7 or IQ8 microinverters cannot be added to installations already using IQ9N microinverters on the same IQ Gateway.
• Where the combined peak PV output exceeds Enphase off-grid design limits (150% with mixed IQ7/IQ8/IQ9N systems or 200% with IQ8/IQ9N systems), PV shedding must be implemented for off-grid operation.
