The Fogstar-LuxpowerTek GEN3-LB-EU is a next-generation single-phase 230V hybrid inverter range, engineered for seamless integration with Fogstar 48V (51.2V) battery systems.
Available in 3kW, 3.6kW, 4kW, 4.6kW, 5kW and 6kW models, the GEN3 provides a flexible solution for residential solar and battery storage systems, allowing the inverter capacity to be matched to the requirements of the property.
Designed for both on-grid and off-grid operation, the GEN3 combines up to 12kW of solar PV input, dual independent MPPTs and up to 125A battery charge and discharge current with rapid 7ms backup switching.
Generator integration, parallel operation for up to 16 units and a robust IP66-rated enclosure make the GEN3 a highly flexible platform for modern home energy storage.
Available with warranty coverage of up to 10 years for long-term confidence and peace of mind.
The GEN3-LB-EU has been configured around 48V low-voltage battery storage, making it an ideal partner for Fogstar Energy battery systems.
High-current battery support provides strong charging and discharging performance whether energy is being supplied by solar PV, off-peak grid electricity or a connected generator.
With two independent MPPTs, the GEN3 offers flexible solar array design and allows strings on different roof orientations to be independently optimised.
The independent MPPT design is particularly useful for properties with east/west arrays, different roof pitches or partially separated PV arrays, allowing each string to operate independently for improved solar harvesting.
Integrated generator support provides an additional source of energy when required, making the GEN3 suitable for both conventional grid-connected installations and systems requiring greater energy resilience.
With generator input of up to 12kW, the inverter can intelligently manage power from solar PV, batteries, the grid and a generator within a single energy-storage system.
The GEN3 is designed to maintain power during a grid outage with a rapid 7ms switching time.
Combined with double-rated surge capability for up to one second, this provides additional support for appliances and equipment with higher start-up demands.
For installations requiring greater capacity, the GEN3 supports up to 16 units operating in parallel.
This allows the system to be expanded beyond the output of a single inverter and provides additional flexibility for larger residential and energy-storage applications.
