The Fox ESS EQM5000 High Voltage Battery Master is part of the Fox ESS EQ high-voltage battery storage system, designed to provide flexible and scalable energy storage for compatible solar and battery installations.

The modular system allows additional battery modules to be connected in series, enabling storage capacity to be expanded up to 29.52kWh. With a plug-and-play design, 90% depth of discharge and CAN/RS485 communication, the Fox EQ battery system provides a flexible solution for growing energy storage requirements.

Important: The EQM5000 is a master battery module and requires a minimum of one compatible slave module to operate.

Heated & Non-Heated Battery Compatibility

Mixed Battery Configurations

Heated and non-heated battery versions can be used together within the same compatible EQ battery system.

For example:

• A non-heated master can be connected to heated slave modules.

• A heated master can be connected to non-heated slave modules.

However, if any battery module within the system does not support heating, the heating function will be disabled for the entire battery system.
