The IMO SI65-PEL64R-2 DC Isolator is a heavy-duty isolation switch designed for Solar PV installations, providing safe and reliable disconnection of DC circuits between the solar array and inverter.

IMO's advanced switching mechanism uses a spring-assisted snap action, rapidly separating the contacts when the handle is operated. This helps extinguish the electrical arc generated when switching constant DC loads, with disconnection typically achieved within 3ms.

For additional safety during installation and maintenance, the rotary handle can be padlocked in the OFF position, preventing accidental reconnection while work is being carried out.
