Duracell Dura-i G3 5kW Single Phase Hybrid Inverter
The Duracell Dura-i G3 5kW Hybrid Inverter is a powerful and versatile single-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential solar PV and battery storage installations. Compatible with the Duracell Dura5 battery range, it combines solar generation, battery storage and intelligent energy management within one integrated system.
With support for up to 10kWp of solar PV, dual MPPT trackers and a maximum efficiency of 97.3%, the Dura-i G3 is designed to maximise solar generation and increase household self-consumption.
A built-in smart meter simplifies installation by removing the need for a separate remote energy meter, while backup power capability can maintain essential loads during a grid outage.
The modular design also allows up to 9 units to be connected in parallel, providing a flexible and scalable solution for larger energy requirements.

Solar & Battery Storage
The Dura-i G3 intelligently manages energy between the solar PV array, Duracell battery, household loads and electricity grid. Excess solar generation can be stored in the battery for use later in the day or overnight, helping homeowners increase solar self-consumption and reduce reliance on imported grid electricity.
With a maximum PV input capacity of 10kW, the 5kW model provides excellent flexibility when designing residential solar arrays, subject to the voltage, current and power limitations of each MPPT.
High-Power Battery Charging
The 5kW Dura-i G3 provides up to 100A battery charge and discharge current, enabling high battery power when paired with a suitably sized and configured Duracell Dura5 battery system.
Actual charge and discharge power will depend on the battery configuration, battery voltage, state of charge, temperature and other system operating limits.
Backup Power
The Dura-i G3 provides backup power functionality, allowing appropriately configured circuits to continue operating if the grid supply fails.
This makes it suitable for homeowners looking to combine solar PV and battery storage with increased protection against power interruptions.
Built-In Smart Meter
The Dura-i G3 incorporates a built-in smart meter, helping simplify installation by removing the requirement for a separate remote energy meter.
The integrated monitoring allows the inverter to intelligently manage energy flows between the property, solar array, battery and electricity grid.
Expandable System
For installations requiring additional power capacity, the Dura-i G3 provides a scalable platform with support for up to 9 units connected in parallel, providing flexibility for larger residential and light-commercial energy requirements.
